Collage is all about play and pasting materials down and seeing what happens next. In this class, participants will focus on the neutrals palette and the elements of line, shape, value and texture. The class involves working with rice papers, printed papers in neutral grays, beiges, black and white with the addition of some copper, silver, and brass hues. Screen, small wood pieces and fabric will also be provided to integrate texture into the final work. Participants may also bring their own papers of interest if they wish.
