Attention Teens! Learn to sew in this 4-week workshop with quilt artist and instructor, Margo Ellis! In this workshop for beginners, Margo will be teaching basic sewing skills to make a purse and patchwork pillow cover. This purse is versatile and fits wallet, cellphone, and other needs in a zipper pocket with slip pocket on the back and a crossbody strap. (Pattern by Lazy Girl) Sewing machines provided. Basic machine sewing skills helpful but Margo can help with that too! Kit fee of $20 includes pattern, soft and stable (gives bag structure), zippers, and Velcro for purse.

No experience necessary to join this casual and informal meet up. The gathering takes place in an informal classroom setting with coffee, drinks and snacks. 

Do you have an open heart to learn more about the Christian Faith? Are you a sojourner looking for Truth?  Have you lost faith, left the church or anything in between?

We will have a chance to meet others, have an open discussion, and provide a comfortable and open space for the journey.

Mark is not affiliated with any denomination or formal training as an instructor - but rather a life history and relationship with the teachings of Jesus.  This gathering has no specific agenda or method outside of affirming and encouraging anyone who wants to learn more about the Christian faith, the Bible, and the teachings of Jesus. 

A bible will be provided for you if needed and although there is no fee to attend, participation is always an important key to opening new doors and learning.
