Why: The Drama Club Cooking Show aims to help end food insecurity in the Florida Keys one kitchen at a time by showing the Drama Club’s fellow students and their families how easy it can be to make flavorful island-inspired cuisine.
The Best Part: For each episode aired, 10 students will receive the ingredients, recipe, and basic equipment needed to make that dish for their family. If you are a kid who lives in the Key West area or knows one who wants to apply, email Juliet Gray at dramaclub@williamshall.org for more info.
Who is Involved: The Drama Club Cooking Show is hosted by Drama Club member Jamison Klettheimer, created and conceived by Williams Hall/Key West High School Drama Club Director Juliet Gray, and developed along with Williams Hall Culinary Director Chef Martha Hubbard and producer Emily Young. The show is made possible by the Art Builds Community Grant which is sponsored by the Florida Keys Council of the Arts, The Helmerich Trust, Ocean Sotheby’s International, Williams Hall, and private donations.
