Join Instructor Margo Ellis in this 4-week workshop as she teaches you, step by step, how to create a fun and creative holiday gifts.

Classes meet 1-4pm, Wednesday, November 17, December 1, 8 and 15th.

+ Supplies

Workshop will provide small quilt sandwiches of backing, and top for you to practice on. If you have scraps of interesting prints bring them along to practice with.

Supplies required:

• Table runner 47 x 17. needs. Charm square packet of 42 5 inch squares or 42 5 inch squares.
• ½ yard coordinating fabric for borders and binding.
• Backing ¾ yd of coordinating fabrics. (You could use a panel or large print to make a reversible table runner.

• Matching thread. 20x50 inch batting (wait until you finish the top in case you want to make it larger.

• Wine bag

• 6x9 inch piece for accent piece of fabric if desired
• ⅜ yard fabric for outside
• ⅜ yard for lining

• ⅜ yard light weight fusible interfacing(I can provide for a small charge)

• Wallets.

• 2 fat quarters, 8 inch or longer zipper, lightweight batting velcro 2 inches matching thread
• Ribbon trim optional to cover Velcro stitching.

Notes:

The Seam Shoppe is the only fabric store in town and their staff is very helpful. Look at the samples in the store of color ideas. They offer a 10% discount to my students.
