Join Instructor Margo Ellis in this 4-week workshop as you learn basic machine applique using the Curvalicious ruler, fusible web and machine work. Students should have basic quilting skills such as use of sewing machine, rotary cutter, piecing skills by machine and interest in learning more techniques.  We will be using our fancy stitches on our machines to hold the appliques in place.  This quilt can be made with plains, batiks or a focus fabric and coordinating fabrics.

Classes meet 1-4pm, Wednesday, May 4, 11, 18 and 25th.

• 2 dark strips 6 x 40
• 3 light strips 5 x 40
• 1 strip 8 x 40 for border
• 1 ¼ yd paper backed fusible I recommend wonder under lite available at the Seam Shoppe.
• Batting 16 x 40
• Backing ½ yd.
• Thread to contrast or coordinate with your fabrics
• I have a ruler to share and a student has one to share. Ruler may be purchased at Seam Shoppe if desired.

Notes:

The Seam Shoppe is the only fabric store in town and their staff is very helpful. Look at the samples in the store of color ideas. They offer a 10% discount to my students.
