Join quilt artist & instructor Margo Ellis in this beginner friendly 4-week workshop as she teaches you, step by step, how to use fabric scraps to create blocks to assemble into a quilt, placemats, table topper, etc. Strips of fabric are pieced on foundation until the foundation fabric is completely covered. This is a great way to use fabric scraps of cotton, velvet, satin and other medium weight fabric.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• Fabric scraps, jelly rolls or 5 inch charm packs

• Foundation fabric (old sheet or inexpensive muslin or lightweight fabric. 1.5 yards of fabric will make 20 9 inch blocks)

• Batting and backing (can wait until you decide what size you are making)

*Classes meet 1-4pm on Wednesday, September 13th, 20th, 27th, and October 4th.
