Embodied Living: Self Care and the Expressive Arts with Katharine Doughty

Classes include chi gong (gentle traditional Chinese medicine exercises), meditation, anatomy/physiology, and expressive arts(natural movement, writing, drawing and creative dialogue).

-Explore physical, emotional and mental/spiritual experiences from a body based perspective.

-Improve balance, mobility, pain management and emotional well-being.\

-Learn to navigate self and environment through the challenges of aging, injury, disease and change.

-Develop personal resources to live an embodied life though exploration of your innate creativity.

All bodies of any ability/age/philosophy/tradition welcome. Absolutely no prior movement or arts experience needed. All exercises can be done from a seated position with standing and floorwork options.
