Learn to play with simple shapes and improve your quilting skills in this 4-week workshop with instructor & quilt artist Margo Ellis. Class will cover basics of raw edge, applique, and creating. This is a class for comfident beginners and those who want to improve their skills. We will be using a simple shape in different sizes and then playing with it on the background. Machine appliqué, free motion quilting, and finishing will be covered. Margo can also help you with unfinished projects.

Classes meet from 12:30pm - 3:30pm on Wednesdays, starting Wednesday, February 12th until Wednesday, March 5th, 2025.

Needs for class:

• 1 yard fabric for appliques
• 1 yard coordinating background fabric
• 1 yd fusible web heat and bond is my favorite
• Backing and batting (for later in the class)
