Join instructor Suely Moura in this 3-week intensive workshop as she teaches you the art of dressmaking. You will learn the basic foundations of dressmaking including:

• Proper use of tools and equipment

• Pattern making

• Cutting and sewing

• French and English seams

• Design

• Troubleshooting

• On the final week you will model your dress!

Ola my name is Suely Moura and I am originally from Brazil. Prior to moving to Key West, I lived in Washington D.C. and San Francisco where I learned 2 skills I carry with me til this day: Cooking and sewing. In 1989, I moved to Key West and invested my efforts toward my own business as a seamstress and fashion designer. I habe over 30 years of experience teaching sewing. Teaching has been a lifelong passion and I enjoy giving back through sharing the knowledge I’ve learned through out my life.
