This class will cover using a rotary cutter and rulers, simple piecing, layering, quilting and binding. We will be making placemats to practice all these techniques. You can also bring other projects you want help or advice on. The class is flexible if you want to do something different.

Needs for class:
- 4 coordinating fat quarters (22x18) available at any quilt store.
- 1 yard backing
- 1 yard thin batting
- Thread to match or contrast
- Sewing machines, cutters and rulers available at Williams Hall.

The Seam Shoppe is the only fabric store in town and their staff is very helpful. Look at the samples in the store of color ideas. They offer a 10% discount to my students.
