Chef Martha Presents Spice for Shellfish and Making Crab Cakes

Chef martha will introduce you to spices that make shellfish that much better and a crab cake recipe that will become a standard for your files. $15 Online Class - Zoom link will be emailed 2 hours prior to start of class

+ Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1lb crab meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 11/2 tsp coriander
  • 1tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • 11/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • Salt pepper and canola

Ahead of class:

  • Measure out all of the spices
  • Clean crab meat (make sure no bones are in the meat)

  • Mixing bowls
  • Spice grinder
  • Sauté pan
  • Spatula
